Do things ever go as planned?I intended to write a cookie decorating tutorial for National Sugar Cookie Day but there just hasn't been time. We're leaving for vacation tomorrow so it's clearly not gonna happen.
However…When I was browsing through the cookies posted to the National Sugar Cookie Day Flickr group I found this awesome turorial by Marian from Sweetopia. She gives great, detailed instructions along with some fantastic resources. Thanks Marian!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Although we all know cupcakes are awesome, Sugar Cookies rule the roost at my house. I have probably tried every recipe out there, but stay true to my favorite with a butter cream frosting!!! As a cookie expert yourself, you know that limits the decorative appeal (it is taste or decoration, rarely both!) So I love to see these beautiful creations and hope that someday I will find one I can make this beautiful and taste as yummy as I expect it to!! Hello. I saw that it said that you sell your cookies at festivals. i was wondering what your pricing was. i am selling my cookies for the first time this weekend, and have been stuck on what to sell them for. thanks for the help.
